University of Arkansas Women's Golf Team Triumphs at Puerto Rico Classic; Post Malone and Jelly Roll to Perform at Reynolds Razorback Stadium

The University of Arkansas women's golf team started the spring season with a victory at the Puerto Rico Classic, securing their third team win in the last four events. Junior Abbey Schutte tied for medalist honors, finishing at 10-under along with two other players. The Razorbacks posted a 23-under team score, leading the field by six shots. Maria Jose Marin and Reagan Zibilski also had strong performances, tying for eighth and fifth place, respectively. The team's next event is the Chevron Collegiate on February 23 in Texas.
In other news, the University of Arkansas will host a concert featuring Post Malone and Jelly Roll at Reynolds Razorback Stadium on July 11 as part of the BIG A** Stadium Tour Part 2. The tour has been successful, drawing over 1 million visitors and grossing more than $170 million. This concert will be the first at the 76,412-seat football stadium since a sold-out Garth Brooks show in April 2022. Presales for the Fayetteville date will begin on Wednesday.
University of Central Arkansas basketball player Camren Hunter was named the Atlantic Sun Conference player of the week after scoring 31 and 32 points in two games last week. Hunter is averaging 18.7 points per game this season and has helped the Bears to a five-game winning streak. The team will face North Alabama on Wednesday at the Farris Center in Conway. UCA is currently in third place in the league standings.
