Countdown to the 68th Annual Grammy Awards: What to Expect at Music's Biggest Night

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards are fast approaching, celebrating the best music of the past year. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, with a live broadcast on CBS from 8 to 11:30 p.m. ET / 5 to 8:30 p.m. PT. Viewers can also stream the event on Paramount+.

Most winners will be announced during the Premiere Ceremony earlier in the day at the Peacock Theater, starting at 12:30 p.m. PT / 3:30 p.m. ET. Darren Criss will host and perform, with additional performances by Zara Larsson, Spiritbox, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The show will kick off with a group performance by Grace Potter, Israel Houghton, Lila Iké, Maggie Rose, and Trombone Shorty.

Presenters at the ceremony will include Dave Koz, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Edgar Barrera, Jesse Welles, Sierra Hull, Trombone Shorty, and Jimmy Jam. Fans can watch the Premiere Ceremony live on live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s official YouTube channel.

Trevor Noah will host the Grammys for the sixth and final time, also serving as an executive producer for the 2026 ceremony. The official pre-show, GRAMMY Live From The Red Carpet, will feature exclusive interviews and early looks at nominees’ fashion. Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and other performers like Addison Rae, KATSEYE, Olivia Dean, and more are set to take the stage.

The “In Memoriam” segment will feature performances by Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, and Lukas Nelson, with Lauryn Hill honoring D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. A tribute performance celebrating Ozzy Osbourne will be presented by Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Slash.
