Convicted Palestinian Immigrant Orchestrates Murder-for-Hire Scheme in North Carolina

A Palestinian immigrant residing in North Carolina was convicted by a federal jury for orchestrating a murder-for-hire scheme targeting three individuals. Nahro Sudoi Innab, 70, of Rocky Mount, N.C., was found guilty of making interstate calls to arrange the murders, according to the Justice Department.
"This Palestinian immigrant sought to fulfill the American dream but instead engaged in hiring individuals to eliminate his perceived adversaries," stated Ellis Boyle, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Innab, already awaiting imprisonment for a separate murder-for-hire plot, attempted to pay fellow inmates $10,000 to carry out the killings of three Rocky Mount small business owners, as revealed by federal prosecutors. A cooperating defendant alerted the FBI about the scheme and recorded Innab's plan.
Despite facing federal charges and pleading guilty to a murder-for-hire plot, Nahro Innab persisted in his dangerous intentions, as stated by James C. Barnacle Jr., the FBI Special Agent in Charge in North Carolina. A collaborative law enforcement effort successfully thwarted the multiple murder plots, ensuring Innab's incarceration for an extended period.
Innab could potentially receive a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison for the recent offenses. The coordinated efforts of law enforcement agencies have effectively prevented the execution of the murder plots, securing the community from further harm. Innab's actions have led to severe legal consequences, ensuring that he will be confined behind bars for an extended period.
