The upcoming ceremony will feature a special "In Memoriam" segment dedicated to music legends such as Ozzy Osbourne, Roberta Flack, and D’Angelo. The star-studded lineup for this segment includes Lauryn Hill, Reba McEntire, and Post Malone, who will pay tribute to these iconic artists who passed away in the last year.
Lauryn Hill, known for her work with the Fugees, will honor both Roberta Flack and D’Angelo during her performance. Flack, who passed away at the age of 88 after battling ALS, and D’Angelo, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer at 51, will be remembered through Hill's heartfelt tribute. Hill had personal connections with both artists, having collaborated with them in the past on memorable performances.
Post Malone will lead an all-star lineup featuring Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt to celebrate the life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away from a heart attack at the age of 76. Country music sensation Reba McEntire will be joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson for a special tribute to the creative community members who have left us.
In addition to these performances, the Grammy Awards will showcase talents like Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Clipse, and Pharrell Williams.
