Tragic Sledding Accident in Frisco: 16-Year-Old Girl Dies in Heartbreaking Incident

A tragic sledding accident in Frisco resulted in the death of a 16-year-old girl who was critically injured. The incident occurred on Jan. 25, and the girl passed away at the hospital, making her the second fatality in the accident. The Frisco Police received a call about the incident on Majestic Gardens Drive and Killian Court around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Initial investigations revealed that the two girls were on a sled being pulled by a Jeep Wrangler driven by a 16-year-old boy. Witnesses reported that the sled hit a curb and crashed into a tree. When emergency services arrived, both girls were found with life-threatening injuries. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, one of the girls did not survive, while the other remained in critical condition.
The Frisco Police Department is collaborating with the Denton County District Attorney’s Office to conduct a thorough investigation into the accident and determine the appropriate course of action.
