Grammy Awards 2022: In Memoriam Tributes and Performances Lineup Revealed
The upcoming Grammy Awards will feature performances by Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, and Lukas Nelson in the In Memoriam segment. Additionally, Ms. Lauryn Hill will pay tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack, while Post Malone, Watt, Slash, Duff McKagan, and Chad Smith will honor Ozzy Osbourne.
The tribute to Osbourne will highlight the collaboration of various artists who have worked with the legendary Black Sabbath frontman. Watt was the executive producer of Osbourne’s final album, “Patient Number 9,” and Malone collaborated with him on the track “Take What You Want” in 2019.
This year’s Grammy Awards will also feature performances by a diverse lineup of artists, including Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Clipse, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Pharrell Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr, and The Marías. Presenters for the event include Harry Styles and Doechii, with more performers and presenters expected to be announced soon.
The 68th Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on February 1 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. ET, with Trevor Noah hosting the ceremony for the sixth and final time. Prior to the main event, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be streamed live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT on live.Grammy.com.
