Justin Bieber, Tate McRae, and More: A Look at the Leading Juno Nominations of 2022

Justin Bieber and Tate McRae are leading the Juno nominations this year, each receiving six nods. Both artists are up for artist of the year and album of the year, with Bieber nominated for "Swag II" and McRae for "So Close to What." They will also compete in the single of the year category, with Bieber's "Daisies" and McRae's "Sports car" in contention. The Weeknd and newcomer Cameron Whitcomb are also nominated for multiple Junos, with Whitcomb receiving five nominations, including breakthrough artist of the year and single of the year for "Options." In the new category Latin music recording of the year, the inaugural nominees include Alex Cuba, Lido Pimienta, Andy Rubal, Isabella Lovestory, and Mario Puglia. The Juno Awards ceremony will take place on March 28 and will be broadcast live on March 29, hosted by comedian Mae Martin.
