Miley Cyrus and other popular artists like Ed Sheeran and John Mayer were left out of the running for an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for their work on "Dream as One" from Avatar: Fire and Ash. Despite this setback, Cyrus is still in the running for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammys. Recently, she achieved a new milestone by debuting on Billboard's Adult Alternative Airplay chart with the song "Know This," where she is featured alongside her brother, Braison Cyrus.
"Know This" marks Braison Cyrus's first appearance on any Billboard chart, following in the footsteps of his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who had hits like "Achy Breaky Heart" and "Old Town Road." Miley's siblings, Trace Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, have also made their mark on the music industry with successful charting songs. Braison's EP, As Long as You'll Stay, features collaborations with both Miley and Noah, with "Know This" being the track that has now entered the Billboard charts.
"Know This" debuted on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart more than four months after its release in September 2025, making it a notable achievement for Braison Cyrus. The song joins a select few new entries on the chart, including tracks from other artists like Buffalo Traffic Jam, Steven Sanchez, and Cardinals. Despite missing out on an Oscar nomination, Miley Cyrus and her family continue to make waves in the music industry with their chart-topping hits and collaborations.
