BTS 'Arirang' World Tour: Record-Breaking Ticket Sales and Exciting Updates

BTS has once again proven its immense global popularity as tickets for the opening shows of their upcoming world tour, "Arirang," sold out completely during presales. The group will start the tour with three concerts at the main stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province, with all tickets for these shows being quickly snatched up by fans during the official fan club presale. The ticketing process prioritizes official Army members, with general ticket sales opening later on designated official platforms.

Fans in North America also had the opportunity to secure their tickets during presales, with general sales following the next day. The agency emphasized that purchasing tickets through unofficial channels is strictly prohibited to prevent scalping and ensure fair access to tickets. The overwhelming demand for BTS's tour led to the addition of extra shows in Tampa, Florida, and Stanford, California, making BTS the second artist to headline a solo concert at Stanford Stadium.

The "Arirang" tour marks BTS's first world tour in nearly four years and will kick off in Goyang before heading to Tokyo Dome and then touring North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. With a total of 81 shows across 34 cities, this tour sets a record for the largest number of performances in a K-pop tour. Fans can also look forward to the release of BTS's fifth album, "Arirang," featuring 14 tracks, on March 20. The anticipation for BTS's tour and album release is at an all-time high, showcasing the group's unwavering global appeal.
