Heated Rivalry Soundtrack Singles Debut on Billboard Charts

The latest singles from the Heated Rivalry soundtrack have made their debut on the Billboard charts, released on January 9. The tracks, "It's You" and "Rivalry," have entered Billboard's Digital Song Sales and Dance Digital Song Sales charts, respectively. These songs, performed, written, and produced by Peter Peter, mark the musician's first appearance on the Billboard charts. They are part of the 34-track score soundtrack for the Crave Original Series' first season, released on January 16 through Milan Records on various streaming and digital platforms. The charts for January 24 will be available on Billboard's website on January 21.
The energetic electronic-dance track "Rivalry," which kicks off the soundtrack album, debuts at No. 3 on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. It follows closely behind Harrison's cover of t.A.T.u.'s 2003 hit "All the Things She Said," which holds the No. 2 spot in its fifth week on the chart. On the other hand, Peter Peter's "It's You," featured in a significant scene in the second episode, enters the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 19. This track is the only one on the soundtrack with vocals. The Digital Song Sales and Dance Digital Song Sales charts rank the top-selling songs overall and in the dance genre sold through digital retailers in the U.S., based on data from Luminate. "It's You" and "Rivalry" sold approximately 1,500 and 1,000 downloads, respectively, in the U.S. in the week ending January 15.
While the chart rankings are driven by sales data, the tracks also gained traction on streaming platforms. "Rivalry" accumulated 433,000 on-demand official streams in the U.S. during the week ending January 15, while "It's You" garnered 711,000 streams. Heated Rivalry, the series, premiered on Crave in Canada on November 28 and simultaneously launched on HBO Max in the U.S. The romantic drama features Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as hockey rivals Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander, who navigate a clandestine romance. Created by Jacob Tierney and adapted from Rachel Reid's popular Game Changers book series.
