BTS Announces Comeback with Fifth Album 'ARIRANG' and Exclusive Target Preorder Editions

After a long break from the music scene, the popular K-pop group BTS is making a comeback with the announcement of their upcoming fifth album, "ARIRANG," set to be released on March 20. Fans can expect new music and exciting collaborations from the septet, including RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, and j-hope.
To celebrate the album release, Target has partnered with BTS to offer exclusive preorder editions of "ARIRANG." Fans can choose from 10 different vinyl album editions and two CD editions with collectible photocards. Limited details about the album have been shared, but fans can find international pre-order information on the WeVerse platform.
Earlier this month, BigHit Music confirmed BTS's comeback with a cryptic note, hinting at the upcoming release of "ARIRANG." The group had previously teased a world tour and announced plans for a new album in the spring of 2026. The 2026-2027 world tour will kick off in South Korea in April and include over 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe.
Following South Korea's mandatory military service requirements, all seven members of BTS have fulfilled their duties. Rapper Suga was the last to be released from his social service duties in June 2025 due to a shoulder injury. The other six members, RM, V, Jimin, Jung Kook, Jin, and j-hope, completed their military service as well.
BTS strategically staggered their enlistments to allow members to focus on solo projects during the group's hiatus. Jin was the first to enlist in 2022 and the first to be discharged in June 2024. The group's return with "ARIRANG" marks their first headline performances since the Permission to Dance on Stage tour, and fans can look forward to new music and exciting performances from the K-pop superstars.
