Ex-Husband Arrested for Murder of Columbus Couple: The Case of Michael McKee

A man named Michael McKee, 39, has been arrested in Illinois and charged with the murder of Spencer and Monique Tepe. The couple was found dead in their home in Columbus, Ohio. McKee was previously married to Monique Tepe, but they got divorced in 2017. The divorce was granted on the grounds of incompatibility, and no spousal support was awarded. The couple did not have any children. Columbus Police discovered the bodies of the Tepes after a wellness check was requested when Spencer did not show up for work. Spencer was shot multiple times, and Monique had at least one gunshot wound to the chest. Their children, ages 4 and 1, were unharmed. There were no signs of forced entry, and no gun was found at the scene. McKee is awaiting extradition back to Franklin County, Ohio, where the murders took place. Stay tuned for updates on the extradition hearing.
