Google has introduced a new AI Inbox view for Gmail that utilizes artificial intelligence to provide personalized to-dos and summaries of topics from your emails. Initially, the AI Inbox is being rolled out to select users in the US through web browsers and is only available for consumer Gmail accounts. Users with Workspace accounts will have to wait for access to this feature. Currently, there is no option to mark completed tasks suggested by the AI Inbox, but Google is working on implementing this feature in the future. The AI Inbox prioritizes tasks based on user behavior and interactions, but an excessive number of suggestions could potentially overwhelm users.
