Support Freedom for Sudan: Hang Out with SZA and Other Celebrities for a Worthy Cause
SZA is offering fans a unique opportunity to hang out with her one-on-one to support Freedom for Sudan's cause. She announced on Instagram that she will be auctioning off a personal fan experience for the fundraiser. The hangout will be held on Zoom, but if the highest bidder is in Los Angeles, they can meet in person. The winner can look forward to a variety of activities with SZA, including singing, crying, doing yoga, meditating, talking about current events, dancing, listening to music, and more.
In addition to the hangout, SZA is also offering a signed five-piece merchandise bundle for the auction, which starts on January 6. Other celebrities participating in the auction include The Weeknd, who will auction off concert tickets, and Olivia Rodrigo, whose contribution is yet to be revealed. Central Cee, PinkPantheress, and others are also taking part in the initiative to support Sudanese non-profits and help end violence and exploitation in Sudan.
The auction aims to raise awareness and support for the people of Sudan who have been facing famine and alleged genocidal violence since the civil war began in April 2023. More than 120,000 people have reportedly died in the conflict as of November 2025. SZA has been actively involved in charitable efforts, including performing at benefit concerts and providing free meals in partnership with Jon & Vinny's restaurant in Los Angeles.
