Welcome to the World: NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Celebrates First Baby of the Year
New York City welcomed its first baby of the year at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The baby girl, born to Oumy Niang and Amadou Niang, weighed 7lbs. 2.8oz and measured 21.26 inches. This is the couple's fifth child, with three of their previous children also born at Harlem Hospital. The city's public health system delivers thousands of babies annually, offering expert prenatal care, labor and delivery services, family planning, gynecology, women's health, and primary care outpatient medical support for women at all stages of life. Congratulations to the Niang family on their new arrival!
