The recall affects products imported from Indonesia and sold under the Market 32 and Waterfront Bistro brands in 17 states. The FDA is investigating reports of cesium-137 contamination in shipping containers and frozen shrimp products manufactured by PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati. Consuming or inhaling cesium-137 can increase the risk of cancer, according to the CDC.
