Urgent Appeal: Help Locate Missing Fishermen from Fort Myers

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the public to locate two missing individuals, 57-year-old Randall Spivey and 33-year-old Brandon Billmaier, who disappeared after embarking on a fishing trip from Fort Myers. Spivey is described as a white male, 6’1” tall, 245 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing khaki pants and a dark-colored shirt. Billmaier, also a white male, stands at 6’2”, weighs 250 pounds, and has strawberry hair and brown eyes.
According to the family of Spivey, the two men departed early in the morning on a 42-foot Freeman Catamaran boat from a residence on the 15000 block of Intracoastal Ct in Fort Myers. The U.S. Coast Guard has joined the search efforts, deploying a helicopter from Clearwater that located the boat adrift 70 miles offshore without anyone aboard.
In response to the situation, family members have called for community support, with 100 boaters scheduled to set out at noon under the coordination of the Coast Guard. They are urging all willing boaters and volunteers to participate in today's search efforts to help locate the missing individuals.
