Melon Music Awards 2025: G-Dragon Dominates, Jennie Shines, and International Recognition Soars
The Melon Music Awards 2025 took place at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on December 20, celebrating the achievements of the year's top artists and releases. The event featured G-Dragon as the big winner, securing seven awards, including three Daesang titles. Jennie also shined, winning three awards, including the Daesang for Record of the Year. BOYNEXTDOOR and Rosé were among the other notable winners, with Rosé leading the female soloists category. International recognition came in the form of Ed Sheeran winning Best Pop Artist, and Aespa taking home the Global Artist award. HUNTR/X won Best OST for “Golden,\" the theme song of KPop Demon Hunters. The ceremony also recognized various other artists and categories, showcasing the diversity and talent in the music industry.
