Idaho State Police Investigate Serious School Bus Crash on State Highway 25

The Idaho State Police are currently investigating a serious injury crash involving two school buses that occurred early in the morning on December 15. The incident took place on westbound State Highway 25 near milepost 43, just outside Paul in Minidoka County. Seventeen students were on board the buses during the crash, with one bus driver requiring extrication. Both drivers were airlifted to hospitals, while four students were taken to local hospitals by ambulance or private vehicles. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the students are believed to be non-life-threatening. All students have been safely reunited with their parents or guardians, and the Idaho State Police are working closely with the school district to address any concerns or questions. State Highway 25 is currently closed in both directions at the crash site, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
