Sam Smith Wraps Up To Be Free: New York Residency with Star-Studded Performance at Warsaw Club

Sam Smith recently concluded their To Be Free: New York residency series at Brooklyn’s Warsaw club with a stellar performance that included new music and fan favorites. Among the audience were celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Vogue‘s Anna Wintour. The highlight of the night was when Sam brought out Grammy winners Brandi Carlile and Ed Sheeran for special duets. Brandi and Sam performed their 2018 charity collaboration, “Party of One,” followed by Ed and Sam’s live rendition of “Who We Love” from Sam’s latest album, Gloria. The trio then joined forces for a rendition of Sam’s hit song, “I’m Not the Only One.”

The residency, which initially started in October, was so popular that all 12 dates sold out, leading to an extension until December 13. Due to its success, Sam will be embarking on a similar residency in San Francisco starting in February. The performances in New York showcased Sam’s talent and ability to connect with the audience through their music, making it a memorable experience for all in attendance.
