A former spy chief of Pakistan has been sentenced to 14 years in prison by a military court for engaging in political activities and violating the Official Secrets Act. The court-martial proceedings against retired Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed lasted 15 months before the verdict was announced. The Field General Court Martial found him guilty of the charges brought against him.
