Arrest of Gerson Emir Cuadra Soto: Illegal Entry, MS-13 Ties, and Quadruple Homicide Charges

Gerson Emir Cuadra Soto was apprehended in Grand Island, Nebraska, on December 8, 2025, following charges of illegal entry of an unlawfully present noncitizen in federal court in Lincoln, Nebraska. Cuadra Soto, a Honduran national, is accused of having ties to the MS-13 organization and facing firearms charges related to a quadruple homicide in Honduras in 2022. After being released from custody in Honduras, Cuadra Soto allegedly entered the U.S. in 2022 through Texas and obtained a California driver's license. He was arrested in Nebraska as part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide effort targeting illegal immigration and transnational criminal activities, with the involvement of the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.
