Repatriation of Dutch Citizens Convicted of Drug Trafficking in Indonesia
Indonesian officials announced on Monday that two Dutch citizens who were convicted of drug trafficking in Indonesia will be sent back to the Netherlands. The repatriation was part of an agreement between the two countries. The prisoners, one of whom was facing a death sentence, were transferred from an Indonesian prison to Dutch authorities in Jakarta. They are set to depart for the Netherlands on an evening flight.
