A 2.9-magnitude earthquake hit the East Bay during the early hours of Monday, as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake's epicenter was located 2.7 miles southeast of San Ramon. It occurred at 2:33 a.m., with residents in areas such as San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore feeling the tremors, according to the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" survey. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
