Traffic Restrictions for Post Malone Live in Musical Concert in Guwahati: Safety Measures and Parking Arrangements
Guwahati Traffic Police has announced significant traffic restrictions in the city in preparation for the upcoming Post Malone Live in Musical Concert on December 8th at the Veterinary College Playground in Khanapara. The restrictions are being implemented to ensure the safety of the public and to facilitate the smooth movement of emergency vehicles.
Starting from 10 AM, commercial goods vehicles and slow-moving vehicles will face restrictions on GS Road and NH-27, including specific stretches such as Sixmile Under Bridge to Khanapara Rotary and Beltola Tiniali to Joyanagar Chariali. Traffic regulations will be in place from 3 PM onwards on key stretches from Prison Gate near Vivanta Hotel to Koinadhara Point on NH-27, among others.
Certain areas have been designated as no-parking zones, including GS Road from Sixmile to Khanapara Rotary and Jayanagar Chariali to Tripura Goli. To accommodate concert attendees, designated parking areas have been set up at locations like Veterinary College, Indian Oil Petrol Pump, and Mukut Parking in Khanapara, as well as along NH-27 and Basistha. Two-wheeler parking options are available at various spots like Beltola Bihutoli and Veterinary College.
It is important to note that emergency vehicles, school buses, milk vans, and local residents' vehicles will not be impacted by the traffic restrictions. Pedestrians are encouraged to use the FOB near Vivanta Hotel, and updates regarding traffic and parking arrangements will be communicated through the official social media channels of Guwahati Traffic Police.
