Camp Mystic 2026: Enhanced Safety Measures and Exciting Updates Await!
Camp Mystic is gearing up to reopen next summer with enhanced safety measures following a tragic incident earlier this year. The camp, located at the newer Cypress Lake site, is completely separate from the previous Guadalupe River location. The camp has implemented various security measures, including flood monitoring units and two-way radios with weather alerts in each cabin. Additionally, the camp will have higher-capacity generators to ensure power in critical areas and maintain communication with emergency personnel and parents in case of an emergency. The 2026 camp dates are set from May 30 to Aug. 9, offering 10-day sessions for girls of different ages. Enrollment details are yet to be announced.
