Guy Fieri's Flavor Town Food Fight: Behind the Scenes of the Celebrity Chef's Injury and Road to Recovery

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri suffered a serious injury on set while filming his new show, Flavor Town Food Fight, which has left him in a wheelchair for the next eight weeks. Fieri explained that he slipped down a set of steps and tore his quad muscle during the incident. He underwent emergency surgery to repair the muscle, which was torn in the center, an uncommon injury according to his doctor. Despite the setback, Fieri's crew had to get creative to continue filming the show in his absence.

Fieri is now recovering at his ranch and expressed disappointment that he won't be able to enjoy the outdoors or help out in the kitchen this Thanksgiving due to his injury. Instead, his sons, Hunter, Ryder, and Jules, will be taking over the cooking duties for the holiday. Fieri will be guiding them from his wheelchair, as they prepare a meal for around 40 people. The injury has certainly put a damper on Fieri's plans, but he remains optimistic about the situation and is grateful for his family's support during his recovery.
