Four Marion County Fire Rescue employees have been arrested for allegedly waterboarding a fellow crew member as part of a brutal initiation ritual. The incident took place at Fire Station 21 in Ocala, where what started as harmless teasing escalated into violent behavior. The victim was targeted by his colleagues, who engaged in physical assault and robbery. The suspects have been identified as Tate Trauthwein, Edward Kenny III, Seth Day, and Kaylee Bradley. Trauthwein allegedly threw the victim's boots into the woods, leading to a series of violent acts against the victim. Kenny and Day held the victim down while Trauthwein removed the victim's belt and struck him with it. Bradley was also involved in the incident as an accessory to robbery. The victim was waterboarded by Trauthwein, causing significant distress. The Marion County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident and initiated an investigation, resulting in the arrests of the suspects on charges including kidnapping, robbery, and battery. The victim was eventually released when a call for service interrupted the assault.
