UAB Blazers Football Team Stabbing Incident: Players Injured, Teammate Arrested
Two UAB Blazers football players, JaSire Peterson and Josh Underwood, were stabbed by their teammate, Daniel Mincey, at the UAB Football Operations Center. Mincey, who previously played at the University of Kentucky, is facing charges for the stabbing incident. The attack occurred just before the team's game against South Florida, leading to some players opting out of the match. Both Peterson and Underwood have been discharged from the hospital following the incident. The case is currently under investigation, and Mincey is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $90,000 bond.
