Stefon Diggs Faces Allegations of Sexual Assault and Conspiracy: The Christopher Blake Griffith Lawsuit
A complaint has been filed against Stefon Diggs, a player for the Patriots, alleging various offenses including sexual battery, battery, conspiracy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and defamation. The complaint was filed by Christopher Blake Griffith, an online influencer and stylist who accuses Diggs of drugging and attempting to sexually assault him at Diggs' Maryland home. Griffith also claims that Diggs conspired to harm him. The allegations were initially made on Instagram in August, leading to a libel lawsuit filed by Diggs against Griffith. In response, Griffith filed counterclaims in Maryland federal court, seeking justice for the alleged attacks.
According to Griffith's lawsuit, Diggs intentionally drugged him and made unwanted sexual advances, including exposing his genitalia and attempting to kiss him. Griffith further alleges that Diggs sexually battered him by grabbing his shoulder, pulling him closer, and kissing his ear with his tongue. Additionally, Griffith claims that a week later, he was attacked by three of Diggs' close associates, including his brother, Darez. Griffith expressed his disgust on Instagram that UGG had chosen Diggs as the face of its campaign, tagging UGG and Sarah Jessica Parker in his post.
In response to the allegations, Diggs stated that he, Griffith, and other influencers went to a club after a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., and returned to Diggs' home. Diggs claimed that he went to his bedroom, and his assistant asked Griffith to leave. He is now seeking damages and attorneys' fees. Griffith's lawyer, Jake Lebowitz, expressed confidence in proving Griffith's claims in court, emphasizing that Griffith is the victim of Diggs' unwanted advances and his brother's violent attacks.
Stefon Diggs recently welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, and has two other daughters with different women. In September, a woman named Aileen Lopera filed a paternity suit against Diggs, alleging that he was the father of one of his daughters. A paternity test confirmed that Diggs was indeed the father of the child.
