Pro-Life Influencer Seeks Justice: Lawsuit Against Attacker in NYC Assault Case

A pro-life influencer in New York City has filed a lawsuit against her alleged attacker after being punched during a street interview. Savannah Craven Antao, a pro-life activist and host of "Her Patriot Voice," was conducting interviews when she was struck by Brianna J. Rivers, resulting in medical bills and emotional distress.

Craven Antao's lawsuit claims that Rivers continued to mock her online and even marketed merchandise referencing the assault. The influencer has faced death threats and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder since the incident, seeking compensatory and punitive damages for assault and emotional distress.

The case against Rivers was initially dismissed due to a filing error by the Manhattan District Attorney's office, which downgraded the charge to a misdemeanor. Craven Antao criticized the handling of her case and decided to file a lawsuit to hold Rivers accountable and send a message.

The attorney representing Craven Antao stated that the civil action was necessary due to the failure of the DA's office to prosecute the assault. Craven Antao hopes to have her medical bills paid and to prevent similar incidents in the future, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice.

The influencer also expressed concerns about safety for conservative figures, referencing the recent killing of Charlie Kirk and the threats she has received online. Rivers previously apologized in a Facebook post but has not responded to requests for comment. The Manhattan DA's office and Rivers have not provided any statements regarding the incident.
