This personalized item costs $50 and is an add-on to the company's Placenta Encapsulation Service, which transforms the placenta into ingestible pills for post-partum consumption. Cardi B also opted for a Placenta Print shaped like the Tree of Life, priced at $65.
Mommy Made Encapsulation shared a video on Instagram showcasing the process of shaping and dehydrating the umbilical cord for preservation. They also posted a video of Cardi B's placenta, dyed blue before processing. This is not the first time Cardi B has used Mommy Made Encapsulation, as the brand previously shared images of the procedure for her third child, Blossom Belle Cephus. Other celebrities like Megan Fox and Vanessa Hudgens have also utilized the company's services for similar procedures.
In addition to the keepsake and placenta print, Cardi B was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, sparking engagement rumors. While she has not addressed her relationship status with Diggs, she now has a unique piece of jewelry made from her baby's umbilical cord that she can cherish.
