Doja Cat's 'Jealous Type' Hits No. 1 on Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay Chart, Tying Her With Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj

Doja Cat has achieved her 12th No. 1 hit on Billboard's Rhythmic Airplay chart with her song "Jealous Type," which has climbed from No. 4 to the top spot on the chart dated Nov. 22. This accomplishment ties her with Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj for the second-highest number of chart-toppers among female artists since the chart's inception in October 1992, trailing only Rihanna, who holds 17 No. 1s.

"Jealous Type," released and promoted by Kemosabe/RCA Records, emerged as the most played track on rhythmic radio stations contributing to the panel for the week of Nov. 7-13, with a 13% increase in plays compared to the previous week. The song's rise to No. 1 displaces Cardi B's "Safe," featuring Kehlani, which had held the top spot for two weeks but now drops to No. 3.

With "Jealous Type" dominating the airwaves, Doja Cat joins the ranks of artists with at least a dozen No. 1 hits on Rhythmic Airplay, alongside Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj. Her latest album, Vie, which includes "Jealous Type" as the lead single, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in September. The song also maintains its position at No. 9 on the Pop Airplay chart for the third consecutive week, with a 3% increase in spins during the tracking period.
