Shakira Shines as Gazelle in 'Zoo' Music Video for Disney's Zootopia 2
Shakira is making a comeback as pop star Gazelle in Disney's Zootopia 2, and the vibrant music video for her original song "Zoo" from the film premiered recently. The video features Shakira in various Gazelle-inspired outfits and includes scenes with animated characters like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Gary De’Snake, and Nibbles Maplestick. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the music video blends Shakira's live performance with footage from the movie, showcasing different settings from the film such as the Zootenial Gala, Zootopia Express, and a cliffside adventure with Judy and Nick.
Written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and Shakira, "Zoo" was released in October as the follow-up to Shakira's original song "Try Everything" for the first Zootopia movie. The song will also be available as a collectible 7” purple vinyl single. Zootopia 2 is set to hit theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Earlier this month, Shakira was honored with the inaugural Billboard Global Touring Icon Award for her record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which is the highest-grossing Latin tour by a woman and the second highest-grossing Latin tour overall.
