Tragic Teen Stabbing at West Babylon House Party: Suspect Arrested, Victim Identified, and Charges Filed
A teenager from Syosset has been arrested by the police for allegedly fatally stabbing a 15-year-old during a house party in West Babylon. The 17-year-old suspect, whose identity is being protected due to his age, has been charged with second-degree murder and is set to appear in court for arraignment on Monday in Central Islip. The tragic incident occurred at a party on Carlton Road in West Babylon, where a fight erupted among approximately 100 teenagers, leading to the victim, Liam Delemo, being fatally stabbed and pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The homeowner, Bonnie Miranda, who allowed the party to take place, has also been charged under Suffolk County's Social Host Law and for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The victim's father, Michael Delemo, is urging witnesses to come forward and provide information to the authorities to help bring justice for his son.
