Florida Teen Faces Felony Charge After Reckless Electric Dirt Bike Pursuit

A 15-year-old boy from Florida is facing a felony charge after engaging in a dangerous pursuit on an electric dirt bike through rush-hour traffic. The teen, identified as Kyle Vincent Siemon, was spotted by deputies riding recklessly along Golden Gate Parkway near 66th Street Southwest.

Dashcam footage captured the teen speeding and weaving through traffic without regard for public safety. When deputies attempted to stop him, Siemon fled, weaving through heavy traffic at speeds of nearly 70 mph. Despite the deputies activating their lights and sirens, the teen continued to evade them, jumping sidewalks and cutting into lanes of oncoming cars.

Due to the hazardous conditions, deputies decided to terminate the pursuit. Shortly after, Siemon lost control of the dirt bike while riding down a hill near Santa Barbara Boulevard and Recreation Lane, getting stuck in a ditch. Deputies were able to apprehend him without any further incident.

Siemon was taken to the Collier County jail for processing and is now facing a charge of fleeing and eluding law enforcement. Sheriff Kevin Rambosk commended the deputies for their professional response in resolving the incident safely and emphasized the importance of keeping the roads and sidewalks safe for everyone in Collier County.
