Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction: Cyndi Lauper's Legacy and Impact

Cyndi Lauper was honored with induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at a recent ceremony in Los Angeles. Chappell Roan praised Lauper's musical impact and advocacy work within the LGBTQ+ community in her introduction. Lauper performed a set of three songs, including "True Colors," "Time After Time" with RAYE, and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" with Avril Lavigne and Salt-N-Pepa, who also received an award that night. In her acceptance speech, Lauper acknowledged the women who paved the way for her in the music industry and expressed her belief in the power of rock 'n' roll to make a difference. The 2025 Rock Hall induction ceremony highlights will be broadcast on ABC on January 1.
