Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were thrilled to receive nominations for the 68th Grammy Awards. While in Paris for the Wicked: For Good press tour, they were surprised by their cast mates with the news of their nomination in the Best Duo/Group Performance category for their rendition of Defying Gravity. Erivo also received a nomination in the Best Arrangement, Instrumental, or A Cappella category for her song Be Okay from her album I Forgive You. Taking to Instagram, Erivo expressed her gratitude for the nominations and the incredible journey she has been on. The duo is competing against other talented artists like Huntr/x: Ejae, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, KATSEYE, Rosé, Bruno Mars, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar in their respective categories.
