Tragic Tornado Strikes Parana State: Six Dead, Hundreds Injured

A devastating tornado struck Brazil's Parana state, resulting in the tragic deaths of six individuals and leaving over 400 others injured. The tornado, with wind speeds exceeding 250 kph (155 mph), caused extensive damage to numerous homes, leading the government to declare a state of emergency in the affected area. Authorities reported that one person was still missing following the tornado's destructive path.

Among the casualties, five adults and a 14-year-old girl lost their lives in the aftermath of the tornado. The government disclosed that 437 individuals, including children and expectant mothers, received medical treatment at hospitals and on-site medical facilities. A total of 10 individuals underwent surgical procedures, with nine individuals remaining in critical condition as a result of the disaster.
