The incident took place at Guano Point in Grand Canyon West, prompting the sheriff’s office's search and rescue team to respond to the scene to assist in the recovery efforts.
The man's identity has not been disclosed to the public, and the search and rescue team utilized technical rope technicians to set up a system for lowering and raising to recover the deceased individual from the canyon.

The man, identified as Steven "Drew" Bradley, 27, from Federal Heights, Colorado, was airlifted from the canyon and transferred to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office in Arizona for further investigation.
The recovery efforts in both incidents involved collaboration with various agencies, including the Hualapai Tribal Police Department, Hualapai Nation Fire, and Grand Canyon West Security, to ensure the safe retrieval of the victims.
