The recall affects Prosecco bottles that were distributed in Costco stores across several states, including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, between April 2025 and August 2025, at a retail price of approximately $8 per bottle. Consumers who have purchased these recalled bottles are advised to discontinue their use immediately and refrain from attempting to open them.
