Sean 'Diddy' Combs Transferred to Federal Prison in New Jersey: Details and Updates

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been moved to a federal prison in New Jersey, specifically the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix. He was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and is expected to serve the remainder of his 50-month sentence there. The prison is situated on a military base near Philadelphia and Combs arrived there in the early hours of Thursday. His projected release date is 8 May 2028, as per the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Previously, Combs was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York following his arrest in September 2024. His legal team had expressed concerns about the conditions at MDC and requested a transfer to Fort Dix. Combs, who is currently in a drug program unit separate from the general population, has filed an appeal against his conviction and sentence. US President Donald Trump mentioned that Combs had contacted him seeking a pardon.
