Spreading Purple Kindness: Celebrating 5 Years of Borahae from Manila (BFM)
Joan De Venecia-Fabul recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of founding the group "Borahae from Manila (BFM)" with a small group of Filipino BTS fans during the pandemic. The group, which now boasts 34,000 members and is still growing, was established not only to support the South Korean septet but also to promote kindness. De Venecia-Fabul, who serves as PLDT's Chief Legal Counsel, emphasized that BFM's core mission is to love BTS, spread positivity, and practice "purple kindness." To commemorate their fifth year, the group organized a free celebration featuring games and prizes for fellow BTS fans, collectively known as ARMY. Looking ahead, they eagerly anticipate more years of togetherness and the group's comeback concert following their mandatory military service.
