Emirates Cargo Plane Incident at Hong Kong International Airport: Investigation Underway

A cargo plane slid off the northern runway of Hong Kong International Airport early on Monday morning, leading to a person going missing. The incident involved Emirates flight EK9788 from Dubai, a Boeing 777 freighter, which veered off the runway during landing. It is suspected to have struck a ground service vehicle and partially landed in the sea. The initial reports indicated that the plane also knocked the ground vehicle into the water. Two men from the vehicle were reported missing, but one has been rescued and taken to North Lantau Hospital. The flight's four crew members were unharmed in the incident.
