Mariah Carey Shines in SIRIVANNAVARI Couture: A Tribute to Thai Craftsmanship

Mariah Carey surprised her fans with a stunning performance in Bangkok, where she closed the show in a custom-made SIRIVANNAVARI Couture gown. The gown, designed by Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, was inspired by an archival look from the brand's collection and reimagined in Thai silk at Carey's request. The soft pink and violet tones of the gown, made from luxurious "luk gaew" silk, paid homage to Thai craftsmanship and culture.
The exquisite gown featured intricate embroidery inspired by the Thai flower "Dok Rak" and was adorned with thousands of crystals, sequins, and glass beads, creating a shimmering effect under the stage lights. The back of the dress was elegantly pleated to form a flower-like shape, adding a touch of grace to Carey's performance. Personalized with the initials "MC," the gown symbolized a blend of Thai warmth and contemporary hospitality.
To complement the gown, Carey wore a high jewellery necklace from the SIRIVANNAVARI x Beauty Gems collaboration, featuring rare pink "Padparadscha" sapphires and diamonds valued at over 100 million baht. The exquisite ensemble showcased Carey's glamour and the artistry of Thai haute couture, capturing the essence of the diva's performance in Bangkok.
