Wicked: For Good - A Sneak Peek at the New Songs and Storyline of the Highly Anticipated Film Sequel
The teaser trailer for the upcoming Wicked film sequel features snippets of two new songs, "No Place Like Home" by Cynthia Erivo and "The Girl in the Bubble" by Ariana Grande, along with familiar tunes from the Broadway musical. Grande's song explores Glinda's character, while Erivo's song reflects on the concept of home. Director Jon M. Chu announced the new compositions by Stephen Schwartz, emphasizing the timeless and universal themes they explore. The sequel, Wicked: For Good, follows Elphaba and Glinda as they navigate their changed relationship and face new challenges in Oz, including the arrival of Dorothy. The film premieres on Nov. 21.
