State Representative Cecil Brockman Arrested on Charges of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in Guilford County

State Representative Cecil Brockman from Guilford County, High Point, has been arrested on charges related to sexual abuse of a minor. According to records from the Guilford County Jail, Brockman, aged 41, faces two counts of statutory rape of a minor aged 13, 14, or 15 by a defendant at least six years older than the victim. Additionally, he is charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He is currently detained in the Guilford County Jail in High Point with no bond permitted and is set to appear for his first hearing on Thursday morning.
