A former library director in Wyoming, Terri Lesley, has settled a lawsuit with Campbell County officials after being fired amidst controversy over books containing sexual content and LGBTQ+ themes. Lesley will receive $700,000 as part of the settlement. The dispute over the books had been ongoing for two years at the library in Gillette, leading to Lesley's termination in 2023. The settlement was reached last spring following Lesley's lawsuit against the county.
