Adeniji Adele Interchange Repair: Partial Closure and Traffic Management Plan

The Adeniji Adele Interchange in Lagos will undergo repair works, leading to a six-week partial closure of the route. The closure will affect the stretch towards CMS and will be in effect daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting on Sunday, October 12, and ending on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The repair work is being conducted by the Federal Ministry of Works as part of a broader traffic management plan to minimize inconvenience to commuters.
During the closure, only one lane will be closed at a time to reduce disruption, while the remaining lanes will remain open for traffic flow. Traffic officers will be stationed to manage movement and alleviate congestion throughout the repair period. Motorists are advised to adhere to traffic personnel's instructions and follow diversion signs to ensure smooth vehicle flow.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, emphasized the importance of patience and cooperation from the public during this repair phase. He highlighted that the repair work is a crucial part of the state's ongoing efforts to enhance road infrastructure. The government aims to improve the overall road network for the benefit of all road users.
