Remembering Celeste Rivas: A Farewell at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Mortuary

Family and friends of Celeste Rivas gathered at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Mortuary in Rowland Heights, California to bid farewell to the 14-year-old girl. The funeral service provided an opportunity for loved ones to say their final goodbyes in a case that has shocked Los Angeles and left many unanswered questions. Celeste's body was discovered decomposed in the front trunk of a Tesla owned by singer D4vd, which was abandoned near a rental house in the Hollywood Hills. Her remains were found days later in the vehicle at a Hollywood tow yard. Police believe Celeste, who was thought to be 19 by friends in D4vd's circle, had been deceased for several weeks before being found. She had been reported missing by her family from her home in Lake Elsinore, California earlier in 2024. Since the discovery of Celeste's body, D4vd has remained out of the public eye, canceling his tour, delaying the release of his deluxe album "Withered," and reportedly moving out of the Hollywood Hills rental home where LAPD conducted a search. He has not been seen in public since the incident. Celeste was only 14 years old.
